We close off a wonderful five weeks of comedy with our annual visit from the legendary; Jason Byrne. If you’ve never seen him before make sure to get your hands on some tickets promptly, as this one is a bit special. Jason is joined on the night by the wonderful; John Colleary and resident compere Colin Murphy.

TICKETS

Tickets are onsale from all Ticketmaster outlets as well as online from the link below. The QUBSU reception will also have tickets for sale in the coming days.

Jason Byrne

Jason’s inspired, original brand of high-energy lunacy ensures that there is no other comedian presently like him. His fast, free-wheeling style, fused with an array of offbeat props, makes his act a helter-skelter of a show – where the audience are promised the ride of their lives.

John Colleary

Dublin-based John Colleary is a regular compere at a number of gigs in Ireland, including the Craic In The Box, in his native Sligo.
We’re are truly delighted to finally have Tony Law play Queen’s Comedy. This is the fourth attempt to get him here and this ones gonna count. Tony is without a doubt one of our all time favourite comics. Bizarre, but yet genius at the same time. He is truly not to be missed. He will be supported by the wonderful Eleanor Tiernan and resident compere Colin Murphy.

Tony Law

Like a rolling ball of funny with bits flying out of it, Tony Law’s infectious comedy will leave you stranded in a hilarious field of ideas. Half Canadian, half Trinidadian, Tony spent many years developing his unique, scattergun, surreal style and is now established as one of the most exciting headline acts around. His laid back ‘acid-casualty’ approach, combined with scorching jokes and incisive remarks, have endeared him to both live and TV audiences here and abroad.

“Tony Law, the sherpa of stand-up, leads an expedition to undiscovered alpin uplands of laughter” Stewart Lee

“Tony Law takes a highly-enjoyable crap on comedy conventions, and manages to be clever in a way that doesn’t make you want to throttle him” Adam Buxton

Eleanor Tiernan

Eleanor Tiernan is without a doubt one of Ireland’s top female comics. Within just a year of starting stand-up Eleanor was asked to perform in DublinÂ’s Vicar St for the RTE production The Liffey Laughs, and BBCÂ’s One Night Stand. She also played 120 shows as the support act for Tommy TiernanÂ’s Bovinity Tour, playing to over 120,000 people.

Wednesday 17th sees a welcome return from one of the top female comics in the business. Sarah Millican will bring her very own unique brand of filth to the Mandela being joined by Mr Gary Delaney.

Sarah Millican

One of the hottest comics on todayÂ’s circuit, performing at all the
top comedy clubs, Sarah has established herself as a crowd-pleasing
act with well-written material and a gentle delivery style that
disguises her cutting observations on life. An experienced and hard
working live performer, she deservingly won the Best Newcomer at the
If.Comedy Awards at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2008.

“probably the finest female comedian working at the moment” – Time Out

Gary Delaney

Gary is a hard hitting, one-liner based comedian whose
tightly-written, original material makes him one of the most quoted
comics on the circuit. Respected by peers and audiences alike, his
brilliant, razor-sharp and often dark lines win over any crowd and
leave them struggling to remember all the ones they want to tell
later.

‘Delaney is the man Jimmy Carr wants to be’ – BBC Online.
